The Extraterrestrial Menace Arrives to Fallout 76 with Invaders from Beyond

Prepare for an invasion that's not of this world. Bethesda

There may be lots of problems on Earth, but things are about to get out of this world. That's because visitors from outer space have arrived in Appalachia. Making things worse is that they seem to be wearing power armor. All of this means it's time to lock and load as Invaders from Beyond is now in Fallout 76. This event starts April 30 and runs until May 14 at 12:00 p.m. ET.

For the duration of the Invaders from Beyond event, you'll need to defend Appalachia against the flying saucer menace from outer space who's arrived to steal your brainwaves.

Fight the Aliens

What's going to happen is that at the top of every hour, there's going to be a Frisbee-shaped UFO visible and hovering on one of the important locations in Appalachia. Once you see one of them, that's your cue to start. Start investigating the strange technology brought by the aliens and stop them from getting any data. There are different types of enemies to fight that include the rank-and-file Aliens, Captain, and the Invader Aliens.

Keep an eye out for the Siphons. Remember that once the meter of the Siphon is filled, it means that you've failed the challenge.

Get the Rewards

It may be difficult but completing the challenge means you get to earn XP, caps, and even new rewards. One of the rewards is a Hazmat Suit which comes in a subtle teal. While it won't be able to protect you from the rising radiation levels, at the very least it can make you look fabulous. You also have the chance to obtain the plans for a glowing green Alien Head Lamp to serve as a reminder to your victory against the alien menace. You can also get the Glowing Flatwoods Monster Lamp.

The thing is, you'll need to have something to place and show off those new lamps. The good news is that during the event, you also have the chance to earn a C.A.M.P. plan and have your very own Alien Table. Don't forget to get your hands on the Alien Target Practice Sheet plan.

Special Offers

On May 7, you can head on over to the Atomic Shop and give your Power Armor that coat of Flatwoods Monster Power Armor Paint. This should give you that interplanetary look. Be sure to buy the Laser Door to keep the raiders out.

Fallout 76 is available for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
