Hidden deep in the patch notes, however, was a new game mode dubbed the “Gold Arena” that a lot of players overlooked -- that is, until Gold Mode Passes started showing up in their crates. What Is A Gold Mode Pass? How Do I Use It?
As mentioned, the latest Rules of Survival update brings a new Gold mode or arena. These passes are tickets to play in the new arena. Once the mode becomes available in your area, you will see the option to use the ticket when you go to play Gold Mode.
How Does Gold Mode Arena Work In Rules of Survival?
According to the patch notes, in the Gold arena, players to carry gold coins, and when they kill other players, they get to grab the fallen opponent’s coin stash. Here’s a more detailed rundown of the mode rules appears in-game the first time you play.
Each player carries 1000 Gold at the start of each match
When a player is killed, a part of the gold will go to the player who killed him as a combat rewarm while the rest is put in player’s Core (Supply Crate). Other players can pick this up by killing you.
The higher your rank, the higher proportion of gold you can win.
The last survivor standing wins the big loot pot.
Players can win up to 30,000 gold daily in Gold Mode.
Any gold won that exceeds the daily limit will be turned into Look Shards.
The more gold you win in Gold mode, the higher the price of your next Gold Mode Pass.
Where Is Rules Of Survival Gold Mode?
The Rules of Survival Gold mode is open to all players with a Silver rank or above. In order to play the new mode, do the following:
Open the game and click “Play”
On right-hand side of the screen, go to the place where you choose your map. The new “Gold Mode” option will appear here when it is available in your area.
Why Can’t I See The New Gold Arena Mode? When Will It Release In My Region?
If you can’t find the Gold arena game mode inside of Rules of Survival, changes are, it hasn’t hit your region of the world yet. In the patch notes, Europe was set to receive the new mode first, with other regions follow in the days to come. No specifics were given for when the mode will be available globally, but according to Redditor, CVADRA , it dropped on Asian servers less than an hour ago. Keep checking your server for the new game mode, and once it becomes available, you’ll be able to use your Gold Mode pass there.
