The 100 gets carried away at times, but it’s easy to be sucked into the unconventional sci-fi and solemn teen drama. The series is darker than other adaptations on The CW, such as The Flash and Arrow. While there’s no superheroes, villains of the week and flashy CGI, The 100 is worth a shot if you’re ready to strap into a Walking Dead- style rollercoaster of WTF moments.

The CW has finally released the first footage for The 100 Season 4 after a six-month break. The Season 3 finale aired in May and Season 4 won’t air until February, but fans finally have a full trailer to dissect. Take a look below.

For fans caught up with the series, you’ll notice Jaha has gone bald. Octavia seems to be going on a killing rampage after she finally got revenge for Lincoln’s death in the Season 3 finale. There’s also a few new faces, including Chai Romruen's new character, Ilan.We also get a glimpse of a map of grounder territory -- and Polis is only one of many surviving civilizations. Speaking of new places, Bellamy, Harper, Miller and Monty are seen standing in front of what looks to be the Azgeda of the Ice Nation. They’re probably going to see Roan? Jasper is still pissed and drunk, Murphy is still a stud, and oh yeah, a huge nuclear apocalypse is threatening everyone’s life. Turns out good ole Alie was right, everyone’s face is going to boil if Clarke and Bellamy can’t save the world again for the millionth time.

The 100 will take Supernatural’ s Wednesday night spot, following Arrow. If you’re willing to give this show a chance, all three seasons are available on Netflix now. Season 4 airs Feb. 1 at 9 p.m.
