Apex Legends' 14th Season, Hunted, will go live on all platforms on August 9. The new season will bring new content, changes to an existing map, battle pass, and more. The developer has released the launch trailer for the upcoming season.
The trailer is animated and features no actual gameplay, but it still gives us some context on what’s going on.
New Legend
The new legend is Vantage, the daughter of the sole prisoner of the crashed ship G.D.S. Vantage. After the daughter was gravely injured while exploring the said ship, her mother had no choice but to activate a distress signal.
We don’t know the exact details of Vantage’s abilities, but she does have a cute bat-like pet; that’s all the reason I need to make her my new main. Today’s trailer showed us that she has some kind of jetpack and can track enemies through walls. More details about her abilities should be revealed when the Gameplay Trailer launches on August 1.
New Content and Changes
We do know some of the changes that the new season will bring. The level cap will be increased, and a new battle pass will be introduced. As you would expect, the battle pass will feature cool weapon skins, flying animations, legendary skins, and more. The game’s first map, Kings Canyon, will receive another round of major changes.
