The first official trailer for Batman: Return To Arkham has finally been released by WB Interactive and Rocksteady Studios, more than a week after leaked images of a WB magazine confirmed the existence of the upcoming Arkham HD collection. The good news is that Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City really are getting HD remasters, as has been rumored for several months. The bad news is we’re going to be waiting longer than expected for Batman: Return To Arkham.

Interestingly, it appears the upcoming Arkham collection will only be available for consoles. Many fans noticed the lack of PC box art in last month’s magazine leak but it wasn’t quite enough for us to assume WB had abandoned the platform. But the first trailer for Batman: Return To Arkham doesn’t mention a PC port and neither does the YouTube video’s description. It’s also worth pointing out that there isn’t a Batman: Return To Arkham page on Steam, either.

On the plus side, those who pick up Batman: Return To Arkham on PS4 or Xbox One will find remastered builds of both Rocksteady-developed predecessors to last year’s Batman: Arkham Knight. Return To Arkham will also include all of the post-launch DLC released for each title, including the Harley Quinn’s Revenge DLC set between Arkham City and Arkham Knight. Sadly, there’s no mention of a similar treatment for Batman: Arkham Origins.

For a closer look at Batman: Return To Arkham, including some of the iconic villains encountered in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, take a couple of minutes to watch the Batman: Return To Arkham announcement trailer released on Wednesday. Then head down to the comments section and let us know whether or not you’re planning to buy Batman: Return To Arkham at launch.

Batman: Return To Arkham is in development for PS4 and Xbox One. The upcoming Arkham HD collection debuts July 26.
