We finally have an idea of when the first episode of Batman: The Telltale Series will be released by Telltale Games, thanks to a new distribution deal with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and the studio says Batman: The Telltale Series will hit stores much faster than its predecessors.

We still don’t have an exact release date for Telltale Games’ first foray into the world of the Dark Knight; however, a new press release announcing the studio’s publishing deal with WB Interactive does confirm the first episode of Batman: The Telltale Series will debut next month. Warner Bros. says fans can also expect to see the game’s “Season Pass Disc” hit their local video game retailer on Sept.13, much earlier than we’ve seen from previous Telltale episodic adventures. The new publishing deal also covers the yet-to-be-named third season of The Walking Dead, but WB and Telltale weren’t ready to offer retail dates for that project yet.
