A new trailer for the upcoming open-world survival RPG Undawn has been released ahead of the worldwide launch on June 15. The game is going to be available on PC through Steam, the game's official website, Android, and iOS.
Titled the "Battle of the Stronghold," it starts with survivors just having a relaxing time playing music and drinking beer. However, things outside start to get tense as the undead attack, leaving the survivors with no choice but to defend the stronghold with their lives. You can watch the trailer below:
Surviving the Post-Apocalyptic World
Undawn is set in a post-apocalyptic world where survivors have been divided into different factions, each with its own rules of survival. Players start the game as a member of the Raven Squad, which means they'll have to fight against the other factions: Eagles, Clowns, Night Owls, and Reivers. In addition to fighting for territory, they have to make it through the darkest nights and survive until the next sunrise.
To survive and protect what's important to them, players must use weapons and armor. Besides standard weapons, there are also tactical gear such as melee weapons, drones, decoy bombs, and auto turrets, among others.
Meet the Ravens
As a member of the Raven Squad, players will meet different characters:
- Tang
- An expert when it comes to survival.
- He's someone who can be depended on to look for supplies or go on a hunt.
- Sherry
- One of the few qualified nurses who survived the disaster.
- She's a kindhearted woman and a favorite among the children of the shelter.
- Catherine
- A combat instructor who is highly proficient in different types of firearms.
- She's quiet and reserved but possesses a strong sense of responsibility.
- Yevgeny
- Joined the rescue team and was the one responsible for teaching Caine to be a leader.
- Caine
- The current leader of the Ravens Shelter.
- Leads the Raven Squad and the development of the shelter itself.
- Roman
- The most reliable vehicle repair specialist.
- Taught himself to pilot helicopters and has a German Shepherd that he adores.
