For players who haven’t had their Overwatch fix filled yet, you are in luck. The beta that was supposed to end on Monday, will be extended until Tuesday, May 10 at 10 a.m. PT. Players have been clamoring to play as much of this character shooter as possible ever since the closed beta launched. Not everybody was able to get into that, myself included, so now that the beta is open, we have all been playing a lot of Overwatch.

Lylirra, the Overwatch community manager, took to the Blizzard forums yesterday to thank everyone who’s contributed to the success of the open beta. As a form of good will, they are extending the beta by a full 24 hours. After Tuesday, the game will go down until May 24 when Overwatch goes live.

In the forum post Lylirra writes: “We hope everyone has been enjoying the Overwatch Open Beta. We certainly have! We've loved being able to play alongside you on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Over the last week, we've also had the opportunity to listen to your thoughts and opinions on the game; make improvements based on your reports in these very forums; and collect invaluable data just from you playing normally.”

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go get good at Junkrat.

'Overwatch' May Not Be Perfect, But It's Damn Near Close
Overwatch doesn't care if you've ever tried an FPS before, it holds your hands and makes you feel okay while you shoot rocket launchers, icicles and sound waves.
