Blizzard has finally revealed details for the upcoming yearly BlizzCon this 2019, and it’s going to be loaded as usual. Although the event isn’t scheduled until November this year, you can expect tickets to go on sale this May 4. Missed out on this date due to high demand? Not to worry, as Blizzard will sell a second batch on May 9.
The tickets won’t be cheap, though. There’s no news as of yet for the prices of the virtual tickets, which are expected to be the cheapest, but for the passes, here’s what they will include and what they’ll cost you.
- BlizzCon Pass – This pass includes a basic BlizzCon badge, which allows you entry to all general activities, a BlizzCon 2019 Commemorative Collectible, some BlizzCon digital in-game items and extras, as well as access to the pregame festivities to be held on the Thursday before the event starts. Each pass costs $229 USD which includes all taxes and fees. Each purchaser is limited only to four passes.
- BlizzCon Portal Pass – This pass includes everything that comes with the BlizzCon Pass, plus some few extras. This includes Night at the Faire, which is access to the Darkmoon Faire exhibition the night before BlizzCon officially opens, access to the Portal Pass Lounge, which allows you to mingle and relax with various Blizzard employees, convenience perks like skipping general attendee registration and security lines and preferred parking in the Con’s venue. It also allows you access to BlizzCon early, before general attendees get access on Friday and Saturday. Each pass costs $550 USD and is limited to four per purchaser as well.
- BlizzCon Benefit Dinner Package – This pass includes everything that comes with the Portal and regular pass, and is the highest tier of the passes. It includes some very special perks, including a dinner with Blizzard before the start of the event, a signed art print featuring a custom BlizzCon key art and reserved Mythic Stage seating during the opening ceremony and community night on Friday. This pass costs $750 USD and is limited to two per purchaser.
The BlizzCon 2019 Commemorative Collectible is a very special statue made to celebrate 25 years of Warcraft. There are two unique models, and each pass can only get one of their choice which will be decided once the ticket sales begin, as Blizzard will only make a set quantity of both according to what the attendees choose. The unique models are based off of the factions in Warcraft’s central conflict: an axe-wielding Orc Grunt for the Horde, and a sword-and-shield-wielding Human Footman for the Alliance.
Blizzcon 2019 will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center. Certain events will be made available to some pass holders starting October 31, from 12 p.m. EDT to November 1 at 2 a.m. EDT. The main event starts on Friday, November 1 and runs until Saturday, November 2.
