The long awaited Bulletstorm remaster has finally been revealed by developer People Can Fly, one of several new projects to emerge during this year’s Game Awards, and there are plenty of reasons for current-gen console owners to get excited about Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition.
On Thursday, Gearbox Software and People Can Fly announced a new partnership that will bring Bulletstorm , the cult classic first-person shooter that first appeared on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, over to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition will bundle the base game, all of its post-launch DLC and new Echo Mode maps. Those who pre-order the game will also receive Duke Nukem’s Bulletstorm Tour, a new add-on that lets players complete Bulletstorm as Duke Nukem. The bonus DLC even includes new audio, with lines written specifically for Duke, and voice-acting from the character’s original voice actor.
A follow-up press release, featuring a brief statement from People Can Fly CEO Sebastian Wojciechowski, also confirmed that the game would include additional support for the PS4 Pro. Some of those features, like 4K textures, will also be available to PC gamers with machines powerful enough to handle them. The game will also include 12 cooperative maps, for those hoping to squeeze in some non-competitive multiplayer action.
“Everyone at our studio is excited to be delivering what we feel is the very best Bulletstorm experience to fans around the world,” said Wojciechowski. “We hope that gamers everywhere are ready to step into Grayson’s boots again and show the world how creative they can get with their Skillshots.”
