Seven minutes of new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered gameplay footage hit the web this week, showing a speedy completion of the game’s Crew Expendable mission, and it’s a nice reminder of why so many fans are excited to see Modern Warfare return with a fresh coat of paint.
Obviously, there aren’t going to be any surprises in the new footage, unless you are completely unfamiliar with the game. Crew Expendable is one of the most well-known missions from Modern Warfare , and Activision has already confirmed Raven Software won’t be altering anything from the original campaign other than textures and audio. And buying Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is still the only way to get Modern Warfare Remastered . But promoting said remaster probably seems easier to Activision right now, given how badly Battlefield 1 seems to be trouncing Infinite Warfare in the court of public approval. On the plus side, Modern Warfare was easily one of the best games in the series and Raven Software’s upcoming remaster is looking pretty damn good.
