E3 2017 is just around the corner. The highly anticipated game expo will kick off on June 11 and reveal new details on quite a number of big games (not all – looking at you, Death Stranding). However, there is one game that intends to go all out – Call of Duty WWII.
According to CoD blog CharlieIntel, Sledgehammer Games and Activision will launch a major campaign at E3, starting with the entrance to the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Sledgehammer will also be hosting a Call of Duty WWII panel for the brand-new E3 Coliseum event as well, which will take place Wednesday, June 14, at 2 p.m. PST (5 p.m. EST) and will be available on Twitch, YouTube, Mixer, and Facebook live streams.
Obviously, we won't find out what will be discussed at the panel until Wednesday, but Sledgehammer offered the following description for now:
"Call of Duty: WWII returns to its franchise roots. Join Michael Condrey, Glen Schofield, and Greg Reisdorf for an inside look at the game that is taking the series back to boots on the ground. The panel will share behind-the-scenes development of the E3 content as we look at multiplayer and campaign gameplay and perhaps a hint at things to come in the months ahead. Moderated by Afrojack (Nick van de Wall)."
Lastly, the new Call of Duty WWII title made a deal with Sony for timed DLC exclusivity on the PS4 console. Given the partnership, we wouldn't be surprised to also see some Call of Duty news dropped at the Sony PlayStation E3 conference on Monday, June 12, at 6 p.m. PST.
