Bandai Namco published one last trailer for Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel , the first of two planned add-ons for FromSoftware’s latest action-RPG, and our latest look at the Dark Souls 3 DLC is focused almost entirely on the PvE content seen in the expansion.
The first Dark Souls 3 expansion is now available on the PlayStation Network, Steam and Xbox Live, six months after the base game forced us to start discussing Game of the Year candidates a bit earlier than normal, and there’s a new trailer out to celebrate the occasion. Unlike the our last preview of the expansion, the launch trailer for Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel focuses on more than just the PvP changes players will encounter. The new clip includes footage of several bosses from the new expansion, along with several unfamiliar NPCs, along with new items and spells that players can recover. Admittedly, we weren’t the biggest fans of the first Dark Souls 3 expansion but those of you who actually enjoy fighting other players might find more to love.
