New gameplay footage from Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City has finally been released by Bandai Namco, more than two weeks after the expansion’s announcement trailer hit the web, giving us visuals to go along with the Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City previews published earlier this week.

The new Dark Souls 3 gameplay footage seems to depict the same portions of the expansion that were recently shown to the press, including the first new zone we’ll explore when Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City hits PSN, Steam and Xbox Live in late March. Obviously, those who don’t want any of the surprises spoiled for them should probably skip the new footage. The latest trailer doesn’t reveal any bosses we haven’t seen before, or major story beats, but it’s not hard to imagine some of the sights dampening the excitement of those sensitive to spoilers.

Unfortunately, the new Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City footage doesn’t give us any information on the steps FromSoftware is taking to make the game’s final expansion less linear than its predecessor, Ashes of Ariandel. Early reports suggest we can expect something considerably more maze-like from The Ringed City, but it looks like we’ll have to wait until March to find out just how true that will be. That’s probably for the best though. Discovering new secrets and shortcuts throughout the world is arguably half the fun of the Dark Souls franchise.

For a closer look at Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City, including some of the enemies and locations we’ll encounter in the expansion, take a few minutes to watch the new gameplay footage from Bandai Namco. Then head down to the comments section and let us know what you’re hoping to see when Dark Souls 3: The Ringed City debuts next month.

Dark Souls 3 is currently available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game’s final expansion, The Ringed City, debuts March 28.
