A rough timeline for the first year of Destiny 2 expansions hit the web this week, alongside new information on the contents of each, and it looks like Bungie’s two-per-year schedule won’t be changing after Destiny 2 hits PC and consoles in September. The developer still isn’t saying much about its plans to reward Destiny veterans in the game’s upcoming sequel, either.

A pair of documents, only meant to be read by GameStop personnel, were published to Imgur this week. The first, a letter from Bungie to GameStop staff, isn’t especially interesting. It talks a bit about the upcoming Destiny 2 rollout, which Activision and Bungie say will be the “largest entertainment launch” of the year, but the accompanying FAQ is the document making headlines this week. The Q&A sheet includes early launch timelines for the Destiny 2 Expansion Pass, and it sounds like it won’t be much different than the content schedule from vanilla Destiny.

Here’s how that particular section reads:

The Destiny 2 Expansion Pass includes reservations for both EXPANSION 1 and EXPANSION II, which will be released in Winter 2017 and Winter 2018, respectively. The Expansions offer brand new story missions, cooperative activities, competitive multiplayer, and a wealth of new weapons, armor, and gear.

Destiny players believe those expansions will thrust Osiris and Rasputin back into the spotlight. The theory is based on Bungie’s use of each character’s logo, an eye and concentric diamonds with wings (respectively), in early marketing for the Destiny 2 Expansion Pass. Similar markings were used to tease the contents of previous Destiny expansions, including The Dark Below and House of Wolves. We’ve yet to hear anything official from the Destiny 2 developer or publisher. But the theory seems pretty sound to us.

If you haven’t yet, take a few minutes to check out the Destiny 2 reveal trailer that debuted last week. Then head down to the comments section and let us know if you’re planning to pick up a copy of Destiny 2 when the game hits PC and consoles this fall.

Destiny 2 is in development for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game debuts Sept. 8.
