Destiny 2 Season of the Deep is now live on all platforms. So, what does Season 21 have to offer? Read on to learn more.
New Seasonal Activity
For this season, players will go to the sunken Arcology in Titan to recover some Golden Age tech. As they go deeper, they will encounter a variety of monsters, including the Lucent Hive. Players must be ready for what's to come because this is not going to be an easy recovery mission.
Things can get pretty hectic in Destiny 2. Fortunately, there's a new recreational activity in Season of the Deep that players can enjoy on the side: Fishing! Players can grab their fishing rods and capture as many fish species as they can.
New Seasonal Weapon
The new seasonal weapon is the Centrifuse, an exotic 450 RPM Energy Auto Rifle with a couple of nifty perks. The first is called Overcharge Capacitor - an exotic perk where sprinting, sliding, and firing this weapon builds a temporary electrostatic charge, increasing its range and reload speed. Killing enemies when this weapon has a high enough charge will cause explosions, and maximum charge explosions can blind targets.
This auto rifle also has another perk called Regenerative Motion. Basically, sprinting gradually reloads this weapon, which is great as it promotes a more mobile playstyle.
The Centrifuse can be acquired immediately for those who have purchased the Season Pass. For free users, this auto rifle can be unlocked at Rank 35.
