New gameplay footage from Destiny: Rise of Iron is out this week, thanks to a new set of videos from Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, and the latest round of leaks are giving fans a sneak peek at some of the early missions from the next Destiny expansion. But now might be a good time to tune out if you’re trying to avoid as many spoilers as possible ahead of launch.
If you’ve been keeping close tabs on development of the next Destiny expansion, there may not be much in the new gameplay videos you haven’t already seen. All of the new footage was captured during the first hour or two of the main Rise of Iron campaign. We already know the early part of the campaign will focus on taking back Felwinter Peak, the new social space being introduced in Rise of Iron, and an introduction to the Splicers (corrupted Fallen) who serve as the primary villains in the next Destiny expansion. Now we get a chance to see what that early content will actually look like.
Spoiler Alert: it looks like more Destiny.
