After months of waiting, it’s nearly time for the debut of Destiny: Rise of Iron. We’re less than 24 hours away from the launch of Destiny’s fourth expansion, an event that will bring hours of new content to the popular shared-world shooter, and many fans are likely wondering how they can best prepare for the moment it goes live. And a few are probably still wondering if it’s too late to pre-order your copy of Rise of Iron. Fortunately, for both crowds, we have the answers.

If you haven’t already started downloading the game, now would be a good time to begin the process. Preloading is available on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which should alleviate a small portion of the traffic on PSN and Xbox Live tonight, making it possible to download a significant portion of Destiny: Rise of Iron before the content unlocks tomorrow morning. All you have to do is pre-order your copy of the expansion from the PlayStation Store, or Microsoft’s digital marketplace, and make sure there’s enough space on your hard drive.

Unfortunately, we’re going to have to wait a bit longer than normal to play Destiny: Rise of Iron. According to both stores, the next Destiny expansion won’t unlock until 5:00 a.m. EDT, several hours after many fans have traditionally picked up new releases from brick-and-mortar retailers. But the decision to forego boxed copies of Destiny: Rise of Iron, in favor of bundling the DLC into Destiny: The Collection instead, means retail chains like GameStop and Best Buy don’t have much incentive to stay open late on Monday. After all, how many people are likely to be joining the Destiny community for the first time this week?

Here’s a breakdown of US unlock times:

  • Pacific: 2:00 a.m.
  • Mountain: 3:00 a.m.
  • Central 4:00 a.m.
  • Eastern: 5:00 a.m.
