Valve released patch 7.22f for Dota 2. With the release of this new patch coinciding with the end of Summit 10 and The International 2019 just days away, this is likely the last patch to be released before the biggest tournament of the year. The patch brings with it a small change to Aghanim's Scepter as well as changes to various heroes.
For item changes, as mentioned, the update is limited to Aghanim's Scepter. The consuming recipe cost has been lowered to 1800 from 2000. This change is indeed very small, and is likely to impact the late game.
A number of heroes received buffs and one of these is Drow Ranger, who has both her base strength and agility increased by 1. Meanwhile her Level 15 has been increased to 40% Gust Blind from 30%. Dragon Knight also received a slight buff with Level 20 Talent now +210 Gold/Min instead of +180. Meanwhile the Elder Dragon Form Scepter magic resistance has been increased from +30% to +40%.
The biggest change in terms of buffs is Tinker. Tinker's Level 10 Talent has his Cast Range increased to +125 from +100. For the other Level 10 Talent, Spell Amplification is now at +10% from +8%. Finally for the Level 15 Talent, rather than the +15% Spell Lifesteal, it is now +11% Manacost/Manaloss Reduction. While these are mainly limited to Talent changes, it makes Tinker a larger threat particularly during the mid and late-game.
At the other end of the stick, Dark Willow has again received a slight nerf, particularly her Terrorize skill. The duration is now scaled to 3.5/3.75/4 from 4. Cooldown meanwhile has been increased from 100/80/60 to 100/90/80. Chen received a nerf as well, with his base movement speed lowered by 5. In addition, the cooldown for Divine Favor is increased to 120/100/80/60 from 90/80/70/60.
The biggest loser of the patch though would have to be Wraith King. Mortal Strike has its manacost increased from 30/45/60/75 to 50/60/70/80. Base damage for Wraithfire Blast is lowered from 100 to 70/80/90/100. The impact of this can likely be felt during the late game, but is still rather significant.
