BioWare will soon implement a new update for Dragon Age: The Veilguard that includes a variety of bug fixes, balance changes, and crash mitigations.
The developer has not yet revealed the full patch notes for the upcoming update but gave fans an idea of what to expect. These include fixes to an issue where some customizations in the game were not correctly applied to the Inquisitor in one scene.

There was also an issue where DLSS options could end up being "grayed-out" on a 40-series Nvidia GPU that will be fixed. Another problem that was addressed was an issue that caused Companion Skill Points to suddenly reset.
Many people who have already played Dragon Age: The Veilguard feel like the developers made the game with a little too much caution. Some players have argued that BioWare did not take enough gameplay risks to make it more exciting.
Fortunately, people praised the studio's work on bringing out the best in the characters and their interpersonal relationships. However, this did not take away the fact that the gameplay perspective felt a little bit outdated, according to the Video Games Chronicle.
What makes this even more noteworthy is that BioWare has already revealed its plans to shift away from Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The developer is not planning on working to bring expansions to the game and will instead focus on the next Mass Effect title.
BioWare cautioned its fans to not get too hyped up about Mass Effect's N7 Day that is scheduled for Nov. 7, 2024. This is the yearly celebration for the franchise and its community and was something that began in 2012.
Addressing a Variety of Issues
The studio gave out some "technical tips" shortly after the launch of the game that gave players on PC some advice on how to get the most out of it.
These include simple things like updating their drivers and using the lowest graphical settings if they are using the Steam Deck, PCGamer said.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard's release was met with relatively positive reviews from critics and fans. Some players, however, argued that the game was too woke with how it tried to force inclusivity into the game, even punishing players for some of their decisions.
It is typical for BioWare to not release updates for its games on the weekends, which made players speculative that the update will come on Nov. 8, 2024. Fans can only wait for the official release of the update to read the full patch notes, according to Game Rant.
