We’re still two weeks removed from the Dragon Quest Builders release date, in North America and Europe, but fans don’t have to wait another day to find out if they’re going to enjoy Square Enix’s upcoming sandbox game. That’s because a new Dragon Quest Builders demo is now available on PSN, for both PS4 and PS Vita, giving players a chance to rebuild a small village two full weeks before DQB is officially released.
In addition to releasing the demo, Square Enix also published a new Dragon Quest Builders trailer; a four-minute gameplay video that offers a quick preview of the moment to moment action in DQB. In theory, it’s not much different from the “What Is Dragon Quest Builders ?” trailer that debuted earlier this month but we’re never going to argue with extra gameplay footage ahead of launch day. Especially when it gives us a way to kill a few minutes during the nine and a half hour wait that seems to accompany any PlayStation Network download these days.
To see more of Dragon Quest Builders, take a few minutes to check out the latest trailer from Square Enix and/or start downloading the new Dragon Quest Builders demo on your preferred platform. Then head down to the comments section and share your expectations for the D ragon Quest series’ first foray into sandbox gaming.
Dragon Quest Builders is in development for PS4 and PS Vita. The game debuts Oct. 11.
