A new trailer for Dying Light: The Following has been released by Techland, just over one month ahead of the expansion’s retail debut, but the expansion’s latest preview video doesn’t provide much in the way of new information about next month’s Dying Light DLC.
Techland hasn’t exactly been forthcoming with new information about The Following, the next (and presumably final) expansion for Dying Light, during the run-up to next month’s debut. To be fair, the studio has tried to be honest about the scale of the project and its general goals for the project. But Techland is clearly hoping to preserve a bit of mystery, at least when it comes to the story at the heart of Dying Light: The Following, ahead of next month’s launch. But that doesn’t mean they can’t at least offer a few teasers to the Dying Light community.
This week’s Dying Light: The Following trailer features a prophecy, presumably tied to the mysterious cult that will take center stage in the game’s next expansion, that offers a few hints about the contents of the next Dying Light DLC. Once again, Kyle Crane will take center stage. And it sounds as though there might be a supernatural aspect – you know, other than the zombies spread throughout Harran – that wasn’t present in the original Dying Light campaign.
