It took some time but we finally got to see what Pokémon GO has planned for December. There’s actually a lot of events happening so trainers are sure to have their hands full. Today, we take a look at the activities offered this Decem.
Let’s start with this month’s Research Breakthrough where trainers can encounter Deino. Those lucky enough can even meet a Shiny one. It’s in effect from December 1 to January 1.
The one-time-purchase bundle is still available and it’s available every Monday this month. This is offered for one PokéCoin and contains a Remote Raid Pass along with other items.

Upcoming Events
While there are not many activities available this month, there are still some planned events, which include:
- Season of Heritage
- The new season starts today, December 1.
- Go on a journey inspired by the past and lead up to the Pokémon GO Tour: Johto.
- The Season of Heritage ends March 1.
- Swinub Incense Day
- Swinub gets attracted more frequently to Incense on December 5.
- Ice-type and Ground-type Pokémon are going to be attracted to Incense throughout the same day.
- Dragonspiral Descent
- This event is inspired by the Unova region’s Dragonspiral Tower and starts from December 7 to 12.
- Pokémon GO Holidays Part 1 and Part 2:
- This event returns on December 16 and runs until December 31.
- Look forward to costumed Pokémon and Ice-type Pokémon appearing more frequently in the wild and event-exclusive Field Research.
- There are also some winter-themed avatar items and a bunch of bonuses.
