Overwatch , everyone’s favorite shooter with gorillas and ninjas, is coming out on May 24. With the release date fast approaching, you might wonder if you’ll be able to play when it goes live. New games always seem to have hiccups at launch, with the games having massive glitches or going down before you even get a chance to play.
Blizzard knows the pitfalls of a launch and seem prepared for all the players coming in. With month long closed betas and an extremely popular open beta “stress test,” everything should be and up and running when the game goes live.
If you haven’t already, download the Battle.net client and create a Battle.net account. PC users will have to wait until May 20 to pre-download the game, but Xbox One users can currently do so. Also, remember to buy the game – the Open Beta may have been free but Overwatch itself is going to set you back $40.
