Firewatch has seen both critical and commercial success since its debut this past February. Right after an Xbox One release, there’s even more good news. It seems the game is the next in line to become a big-screen movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a Firewatch movie will be made with production company Good Universe teaming up with developers Campo Santo. “When we met Good Universe we were floored by how they recognize, cultivate and produce incredible stories,” Campo Santo founder Sean Vanaman told THR. “It's rare you meet another group that shares so many of your values and makes the process of creating things even more exciting. We can't wait to see what we make together."

The article also confirms Firewatch has sold almost one million copies since launch across PS4, PC and Xbox One.

While Firewatch the game stars Mad Men ’s Rich Sommer and veteran voice actress Cissy Jones as the two main characters, no casting decisions for the movie have been revealed at this time.

Firewatch received a perfect five out of five stars from iDigitalTimes. It is a fantastic experience, and something everyone should try out for themselves.
