The Flash movie, starring Ezra Miller as Barry Allen, may feature a whole team of villains instead of just one. Heroic Hollywood’s Umberto Gonzalez has learned this supervillain group will be very familiar to Flash fans. If rumors prove true, The Rogues will come to the DCEU reprising their roles as The Flash’s most famous, and persistent, adversaries.
The Rogues can't happen without Captain Cold, played by Wentworth Miller on The Flash TV series. Luckily, we saw Len Snart’s name attached to the film back in April. Other members of the crew include Heat Wave, Mirror Master, Abrakadabra, Weather Wizard, The Top and more. Heat Wave is portrayed by Dominic Purcell on TV, and Mirror Master and The Top are currently being cast for Season 3. These characters have never worked together under The Rogues name (officially) on TV, which may not be a coincidence. Warner Bros. could have been saving The Rogues for The Flash solo film all along.
Captain Boomerang, recently detained by Ezra Miller’s Flash in Suicide Squad , is also rumored to have a role in the film. He also claims to be a member of The Rogues in the comics. The Reverse Flash has also been rumored to appear, but considering the latest development, the main villain in the film remains unclear.
Watch The Flash in Justice League when it arrives in theaters Nov. 17, 2017. The Flash movie is expected March 16, 2018.
