The actor behind Harry Potter’s biggest, scariest, blonde nemesis -- Draco Malfoy -- is joining The Flash Season 3. Though it's not clear if Tom Felton will be as much as a foil for Barry Allen as he was for Harry Potter. His character, Julian Dorn, is actually a co-worker of Barry Allen’s. The two will work together as CSI’s at the Central City PD. Over time, Dorn will begin to suspect there’s more to Barry than meets the eye.

TV Line reports Dorn thinks Barry is hiding something behind his “good guy reputation.” We’ll likely meet him early on in Season 3. Last month, TV Line’s “Ask Ausiello” column described a character similar to Dorn. When a fan asked insider Michael Ausiello about Season 3’s big bad, he responded by citing a curious new character breakdown.

“For Season 3, the CW hit is casting the major recurring character of Barry’s slightly older, slightly geekier contemporary, a guy who is as smart as he is intuitive. As such, this newcomer doesn’t buy Barry’s nice guy routine and sets out to learn what he’s hiding — all while concealing some secrets of his own….”

If this description proves to be true, Malfoy... er, Felton, may be more of a villain than the official casting description suggests. Unlike Arrow, The Flash Season 3 has been light on casting news. However, Grant Gustin did say that the first episode of Season 3, “Flashpoint,” won’t be like we’ve read in the comics or seen in the animated Justice League: Flashpoint movie.

The Flash returns to the CW on Tuesday Oct. 4 at 8 p.m.
