Another celebrity has joined the Fortnite metaverse in the new Rift Tour event. None other than Ariana Grande is taking everyone on a musical journey from August 6 to 8.
The Rift Tour starts with experiences and then pairs popular tracks with moments based on elements from the game. Players can travel side by side with their friends.
In a post, Ariana said that it was fun working with the Fortnite team in bringing her music to the game. She went on to say that she is excited to join her fans and see all of their reactions to this new journey.
Meanwhile, Epic Games Head of Brand Phil Rampulla revealed that Fortnite has a place not only for the imagination but even for the impossible. He added that they hope the Rift Tour should allow players to experience this new musical journey with their friends. Rampulla concluded that they are truly thankful to have the iconic superstar Ariana Grande be part of this musical experience.

Things to Do
Before the Rift Tour starts, players can do many things while waiting. The Item Shop is set to offer the Ariana Grande Outfit and Piggy Smallz Back Bling. There are also Rift Tour Quests where players can unlock rewards, which are available until August 8.
During the Rift Tour itself, players can enjoy a Fortnite Crew benefit as well. Active subscribes who log in between August 5 and 9 get these goodies:
- Rainbow Cloudcruiser Umbrella
- Skye up High Loading Screen
- Rift Tour-themed Banner
Join the Show
For those new to the game, here’s what you need to do to join the Rift Tour:
- Download Fortnite for free
- It goes without saying that you need to download the game.
- It’s available on PC, Nintendo Switch, Android, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S
- Download the Latest Update
- Download the v17.30 game update.
- Get in the Game Early
- Load up the game 60 minutes before the chosen showtime.
- The Rift Tour Playlist should go live 30 minutes ahead of each show.
- While the game wants to accommodate everyone, if capacity is reached, players need to join other shows.
- Encore Shows!
- The Rift Tour dates are NOT region locked.
- The times were selected to ensure that all players have a chance to join.
