This isn't a GTA 5 Bikers update money glitch guide. Yes, there is a money glitch, but GTA 5 players that reported the glitch don't actually understand the cause or the mechanics behind it. Millions of dollars just figuratively fell on their laps! Reports of the bizarre GTA 5 money glitch were shared on Reddit:
First, redditor ShadowStar09 shared that his cocaine lockup got raided. After the raid, he went back to the lockup to find that his value shot up like crazy. At first, he assumed the $1.7M figure was a visual glitch that may reset itself... until he learned he could sell it for more than $2.6M!
"My jaw dropped through the floor at this point," told ShadowStar09. "I went from almost 4 million to nearly 7 million now and I couldn't be happier. Has this happen to anyone else?"
It did, because redditor ewqcxzdas shared a similar story.
"Came back, played for a while with some friends, then I went to my cocaine lockup and it said I had full product (impossible since after the supply run I was at 1 bar of supplies) but the product value was at $2,240,000," ewqcxzdas said. "Went to the computer and the full sale was at $3,360,000. I immediately joined my friend's party and got them in my session ASAP, we got four kurumas and went with the sale. When we got there, BAM, $3.729.600.
The glitch blessed several other players as well, and GTA 5 tipster and YouTuber MrBossFTW shared the phenomenon in a video on Monday. Is there a clear methodology to replicating this glitch? Not yet. Are there commonalities between the reports? MrBossFTW seems to think so. First of all, the incidents seem to occur for cocaine missions. What's more, cocaine lockups are also the most profitable missions to do in the latest Bikers Update. Some reports also seem to suggest that the money glitch occurs after raids or after turning off or logging off the game after a sell mission.
