'GTA V' Players Plan to Go For 'One Last Drive'
A Redditor who goes by the name "Accomplised-Hat5373" recently made a post on the r/GTA subreddit that invites the entire fanbase for a "one last drive" event.
The Redditor shared a map of the fictional San Andreas state where "Grand Theft Auto V" is set, highlighting a route that would circle the entire playable area where players would come together in their rides to explore the game one last time.
Many Redditors have complained that the said post and map have been uploaded several times to the subreddit group, with many users inviting each other to join the final drive alongside other players. Moreover, this has fans divided regarding the "final ride" of the game, particularly as others claimed that users may still access and play "GTA V" despite Rockstar Games eventually releasing "GTA VI."
It was also pointed out by many Redditors that there are still no confirmed release dates for "Grand Theft Auto VI" this year, so technically, the fans who want to join or host the "one last drive" event for "GTA V" still cannot set a specific date.
'GTA VI' Release Date Speculations: Coming Later This Year
The posts about "GTA V's" "One Last Drive" event grew in popularity because of the speculations about the possible release date for "Grand Theft Auto VI," which has been a hot topic over these past weeks.
According to GameRant, the February State of Play last February event confirmed the release date for "Borderlands 4" from Gearbox Software and 2K Games for Sept. 23. This led fans and sources to speculate that Rockstar Games will not release "GTA VI" close to the timeline of "Borderlands 4," meaning that it will be available later in the year.
They believe that Rockstar Games will still fulfill a 2025 release date for "Grand Theft Auto's" sequel, but it will be set for either late October or around November, but no exact dates have been officially revealed.
