Another week, another edition of the Gadgetzan Gazette to tease Hearthstone’s new expansion. We’ve seen the port and the bank, but now we get a look at Gadgetzan’s newest attraction, a bank. For a city filled with crime, Mayor Noggenfogger sure does want to turn his town into a tourist trap.
In this week’s paper, we get a few more hints about who these “shadowy cloaked figures” might be. They are definitely thieves, taking red crystals at the port, but they’ve moved on to much shinier objects. Jade has started to disappear around the city, causing the price of the precious gem to go up. The newspaper links the disappearance of jade “to nighttime sightings of shadowy masked figures leaping from rooftop to rooftop.”
Could you imagine a Batman-themed Hearthstone card that could steal the coin or pilot a mech? We are going to have until Blizzcon this weekend to find out if my pipe dream could be a batarang-fueled reality.
