Hitman 2 revealed that its August Roadmap comes with the theme "Social Chameleon." The roadmap also brings with it a new suit pack for those who have the Expansion Pass. In addition, it also marks the return of the Homing Briefcase.
ESCALATION
The first Escalation Contract of the month titled "The Simmons Concussion" has already been released. Set in Miami, this one allows players to start the month with an energy boost from Jester. Players need to end the madness by throwing soda cans at joggers.
Other Escalation Contracts for the month include:
- The Batty Tranquility
- Release date: August 15
- Mr Batty has had quite the adventure in the last few months.
- First, his package was indestructible; no matter what he tried, it just wouldn’t open. Countless firearms and explosives were used to no avail. Then, finally, the package got completely destroyed. Now, an Escalation Contract has been named after him, which probably isn’t the good news that he was craving.
- The Scarlett Deceit
- Release date: August 22
- Hitman 2 goes back to the Isle of Sgail for this Escalation Contract which uses a variety of tools and weapons.
- Spare a thought for the Butler in this one, we’ve got a feeling that he’s going to be on the end of a lot of blunt weapons and probably a few lethal ones too.
LEGACY ELUSIVE TARGET
There are three Legacy Exclusive Targets this month and the theme for August is all about disguises and changing your appearance.
The first, dubbed Chameleon, was already released last week and has players go to Chicago. They need to pay close attention for this contract as the client has some rather specific instructions. Completing this one gives players the Tactical Gear with the Hunter's Hat.
The other two tasks are:
- The Identity Thief
- Release date: August 16
- The Identity Thief is back in Paris and you’ll need to take him out using any means necessary.
- Brendan Conner is going to be roaming the Palace grounds and attending the IAGO auction wearing an easily identifiable blue shirt and platinum hair.
- You’ll have 10 days to track down Whistling Bob and complete the mission.
- The Gunrunner
- Release date: August 30
- The Gunrunner was the fifth ever Elusive Target and returns for the first time in Hitman 2 for 10 days. Marrakesh is the destination and Vito Duric is your target.
FEATURED CONTRACT
With August having the theme of Social Chameleon, Hitman 2 is looking for Featured Contract Submissions that fit the theme of "Cosplay Karma." The themes for Featured Contracts are purposefully open-ended to ensure that talented Contract creators in the community are free to interpret them in many ways, ensuring some fun and varied contracts. Submissions close on August 12, so hurry up! You can learn more about this month's Featured Contracts here.
Players should also note that the Smart Casual Pack is set to be released August 27. The pack includes a Smart Casual Suit, ICA Flash Phone, and the IO Elite S2VO Earphones.
On the same day, Hitman 2 is also going to release a major update. Players can expect a range of improvements and fixes to all aspects of the game, including issues reported by the community.
