It’s been a big week for Horizon Zero Dawn fans, thanks to an influx of new information from Game Informer ’s October cover story, but Sony and Guerrilla Games couldn’t let a new console announcement come and go without showing Horizon Zero Dawn running on the new PS4 Pro.

Our latest glimpse of Horizon Zero Dawn was brief, but there was still plenty to learn about the upcoming open-world adventure from Guerrilla Games. For starters, we got our first look at what seems to be HZD’s take on the tower system found in many open world games. A few seconds after the demo began, Aloy began climbing the Horizon Zero Dawn equivalent of a brontosaurus, known as Tallneck Spearshafts to the future inhabitants of Earth. Rather than slaughter the creature, as we’ve seen in so many previous trailers, Aloy climbs up to the creature’s disc-shaped skull to access information on the surrounding area.

The new Horizon Zero Dawn footage also features a few lesser revelations, including new hunting gear for Aloy (presumably with different stats) that differs from the animal pelts we’ve seen in previous trailers. It appears to be a different set of equipment than the metallic armor shown to Game Informer for the publication’s October issue. She also seems to be carrying a different bow than we’ve seen in screenshots and gameplay footage released up to this point. Other than that, all we can really say about the new Horizon Zero Dawn footage is that it’s a much appreciated look at the climbing and platforming mechanics we can expect to see in Guerrilla’s next game.
