A new Horizon Zero Dawn story trailer is soaking up quite a bit of attention on Wednesday, thanks to the inclusion of people and places not seen in previous footage. And some of the content featured in this week’s trailer has us wondering if those Horizon Zero Dawn spoilers that popped up a few days ago might have been more accurate than we originally suspected.
The new Horizon Zero Dawn footage includes glimpses of characters and environments we’ve seen throughout the HZD promotional cycle. Shots of Aloy exploring jungles and deserts have been the basis of numerous trailers, along with pre-launch screenshots, but some new allies appear in this week’s clip too. More interestingly, we get an early look at some of the structures we’ll see in Horizon Zero Dawn as Aloy explores each new corner of the world.
Intriguingly, some of the scenes and narration hint at plot lines that could ultimately make way for the alleged Horizon Zero Dawn ending that leaked earlier this week. We’d rather not go diving too far into spoiler territory here, but the new Horizon Zero Dawn trailer does suggest technology could play a much larger role than the mechanical creatures we’ll be hunting.
