Many big blockbusters have found their way to the video game world through the years, such as "Star Wars," "Harry Potter," and "Indiana Jones."
For the fans of the iconic archaeologist, the surprise appearance of Harrison at the 2024 Game Awards was definitely a treat as the Indiana Jones himself was there to talk about the franchise's recently released game.

'Indiana Jones and the Great Circle'
Released on December 9, 2024, "Indiana Jones and the Great Circle" is developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks. The action-adventure game is set between the events of the 1981 movie "Raiders of the Ark" and the 1989 movie "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade."
As with the other "Indiana Jones" games and films, the game follows the adventures of the famed archaeologist that spans different locations, including The Vatican and Egypt. In this particular game, the goal is to stop various groups that are trying to harness the power of what is known as the Great Circle.
'Very Positive' Reviews on Steam
As of writing, "Indiana Jones and the Great Circle" has more than 8,000 user reviews on Steam that the platform has categorized as "Very Positive."
"It's like the Indiana Jones movies from the 80's got another installment," Steam user Flaws said in a review. "A masterpiece of a game that was made with incredible love for the original films."
Fellow user DeadeyeDesperado said in a separate review, "Completely unexpected banger of a game!"
"While the game does get a little weaker towards the end of the story, it's overall an extremely fun and engaging Indiana Jones adventure," DeadeyeDesperado added.
4.5 Stars on Google Reviews
The game has received glowing reviews on Google Reviews, where it has 4.5 stars as of press time.
"This isn't just my Game of the Year—I'd argue it's a contender for my Greatest of All Time (will be determined when I finish the game)," Google user Cormac Strokes said in a review.
"I can't stress enough how incredible this game is," Strokes added. "It feels fresh and exhilarating, with a level of polish and attention to detail that makes it an absolute joy to play."
Google user Queeny Vincent had positive things to say about the game as well, nothing in a review that "Not a lot of movies convert well into games and this one is by far my favorite game from being a lifelong fan of the first 3 'Indiana Jones' movies!"
