A new update is now live in The King of Fighters ALLSTAR which introduces new content such as a new playable fighter, battle cards, and in-game events.
Players should be happy to know that EX Kyo Kusanagi is now playable and part of the roster. His fighter attributes include a Leader Skill that has an ATK increase of 60% at max and a Special Skill with an ATK and DEF increase of 6% for 13 seconds when skills are activated. In PVE, EX Kyo Kusanagi can reset the cooldown of Active Skills upon use and lower the Active Skill cooldown by 80% for 13 seconds.
Along with the new update, it’s now possible to upgrade SS Iori Yagami EX. This can be done through the Change Up Kit available at the Exchange Shop. The upgraded fighter attributes include a Leader Skill that has an ATK increase of 50% and a 15% increase in the gain rate of the power gauge. His Special Skill, meanwhile, allows ATK to increase by 6% and DEF to increase by 6% for 13 seconds when skills are activated. Under PVE mode, he can reset the cooldown of Active Skills upon use, decreasing the Active Skill cooldown by 80% for 13 seconds.
As mentioned, the update adds new battle cards and one of them is the Kyo Special card. This card offers a Special Skill to Kyo which increases:
- ATK by 2%
- Critical DMG 6%
- Active Skill DMG 4.5%
Other battle cards include a card set for Kyo and even one for Iori.
New Events
Players can join these in-game events:
- EX Rush Dungeon
- Daily rewards offer Rubies, Rare Enhancement Hammers, and new battle cards.
- EX Event Tower
- Requires EX Kyo or SS Iori.
- Upon clearing each stage, players have the opportunity to win various rewards including:
- Three Sacred Treasures Hexagon Imprint Stone
- Three Sacred Treasures Square Imprint Stone
The King of Fighters ALLSTAR offers players fast-paced fighting action as they fight through waves of enemies, giant bosses, and rival fighter teams.
