Riot Games just caught everyone off guard by releasing a brand new teaser for on the League of Legends Facebook page. Summoner’s Rift is about to get a lot more evil, with a Blood Moon reskin coming soon.
The map is covered in Blood Moon iconography, from the Japanese archways to the red sky. There are even waterfalls and a Kindred statue sitting on Summoner’s Rift. This is the second reskin SR has gotten since it’s relaunch two years ago, with the first winter version coming out in December for Snowdown Showdown.
At the end of the video, we got a brief look at four new Blood Moon skins for League of Legends most dastardly ne'er do wells. Jhin, who was teased just a few days ago, will be joined by Twisted Fate, Diana and Talon. All of these skins have the traditional Blood Moon design, with white masks and red accents. Jhin and Talon are my personal favorites, their own style hasn’t been muddled by the theme, but makes them seem even more evil than usual.
These skins have no announced release date, but should be coming the League of Legends PBE on Wednesday. Stay tuned to IDigitalTimes for all information as it comes out.
