Pool Party skins are an important part of summer in League of Legends . When these skins come out, I know that the season has officially changed and there are going to be a lot more children in my games. For the next three months, I won’t be able to play ranked, but I will get some truly awesome skins.
We’ve already seen Pool Party Taric, Fiora and Miss Fortune , but today Riot finally released the last splash art for these three champions’ new skins. Miss Fortune is looking lovely as ever, using her trademark blasters to soak some of her teammates. There are a few funny easter eggs hidden in the piece:
Lee Sin is holding his phone upside down, because Riot loves making “Lee Sin is blind” jokes.
There’s a Poro on Janna’s phone with hearts in its eyes.
I have no idea what’s going on with Blitzcrank, but he seems to be letting out a bit of an electrical discharge, if you know what I’m saying.
Dr. Mundo has a slobbering problem: in all of his splash arts he has his tongue hanging out of his mouth. Here, it’s a reference to old Tex Avery cartoons where a wolf’s tongue would drop to the floor when he would see an attractive woman.
Pool Party Fiora’s splash came out last week, but that doesn't make it any less scandalous. The proud Frenchwoman has just beaten Pool Party Graves in a pool noodle fight and completely chopped his sword in half. Garen doesn't look to pleased about it, but Fiora dosen’t care.
