Let It Die’s momentum doesn’t seem to be have slowed at all in the two months since the game’s surprise PS4 debut, following word that the free-to-play action RPG has now been downloaded more than two million times. And the Let It Die dev team is ready to celebrate.
Developer Grasshopper Manufacture and publisher GungHo Online Entertainment revealed their latest accomplishment with a press release and a new blog post on the Let It Die website. The news comes just five weeks after the two companies celebrated one million downloads of the game, which is now available in the United States, Europe, Japan and other territories in Asia. Unsurprisingly, the two companies planned another celebration for the Let It Die community and anyone else who climbs aboard the hype train in the next few days.
The in-game event begins Thursday, once the Let It Die servers are brought back online (after maintenance), and those who participated in last month’s celebration of Let It Die ’s already know what to expect. Death Metals will be awarded as a daily login bonus from Feb. 16 through 5 p.m. (EST) next Thursday, Feb. 23. There will also be bonus rewards tied to weapon crafting. Any Let It Die players who builds at least one new weapon by next week gets a free 1 Day Express Pass. Building two will net you a Four-leaf Clover decal, which increases a character’s critical chance by 10 percent, and three weapons earns an extra Death Metal.
The upcoming event will also temporarily boost the drop rate for select Premium Decals. For more information on the upcoming Let It Die event, head over to the game’s official website.
Let It Die is currently available for download on PS4.
