Loop8: Summer of Gods follows the story of Nini and his classmates as they try to defeat the Kegai, demonic entities which have forced humanity to the brink of extinction. Nini was raised on "Hope," a failed space station. He returns to Earth to spend his summer in one of the last remaining sanctuaries called Ashihara. Helping in the fight against the Kegai is Nini's "Demon Sight," which allows him to use his special connection to the gods and reset the world. Each loop lets Nini and his friends relive the eighth month over and over again until they win against the Kegai.
