Medieval Dynasty is exiting Steam Early Access with the full release scheduled for September 23. With full release, players can expect to see more content, upgrades, and game balances. The official launch may still be weeks away but this early, players can buy the game at a discount.
The full price is $34.99 but a 20% discount is being offered until August 9.
The game is set in Europe during the Early Middle Ages. For those who can remember their history lessons, this was a time when many nations were experiencing prosperity. However, it was also a time where a lot of military conflicts were present.
Players take on the role of a character who doesn’t want to be part of the war and prefer to have his fate directed by his own hands. Players begin alone, poor, and inexperienced. At the start, they need to hunt for food, gather resources, and even build a house. They need to work their way up and master different skills to become the leader of the community and start a dynasty.
In a post, developer Render Cube said that Medieval Dynasty offers a unique combination of different genres. These include:
- Survival
- Players need to survive and this is done through hunting and farming.
- Simulation
- Create tools and weapons and construct houses as well as different buildings.
- Role Playing
- Develop your very own character by interacting with NPCs and forming alliances.
- Strategy
- They say it takes a village and in this case, players need to do a lot of things like managing inhabitants and collecting resources.
