First, fsociety hacks E Corp… Next up, the FBI. With pressure from Darlene and the fear or being caught, Mr. Robot Season 2 episode 6 saw Elliot back in action. But not for long. Elliott's attempt to help Ray backfired, and now he has much bigger problems than Detective Dom DiPierro.
Ray asked Elliot to fix his website without poking around, but as usual, Elliot’s curiosity got the best of him. However, there was one good thing that came from Elliot’s near-death experience: He’s finally on good terms with Mr. Robot. This means we may finally get some answers about what happened in the three days following Five/Nine.
The teaser below suggests tonight may be the night we find out what actually happened to Tyrell Wellick. “Fine, I’ll tell you,” Mr. Robot tells Elliot in the episode 7 promo.

After breaking into the FBI offices in the E Corp building, Angela may be in quite a bit of trouble herself. “Your story fascinates me. What were you doing on our restricted floor?” Detective DiPierro asks Angela.
It’s clear now that Ray’s intention to “help” Elliot were actually malicious. He knows Elliot too well to think he wouldn’t snoop around and find out about his weapons and human trafficking business on the dark web. Now locked up in Ray’s basement, Elliot is now paying the price. What more is Ray hiding and why did he want Elliot involved?
