A new trailer for "The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy" showcased the cast of characters that players will be able to interact with when the game actually launches.
The first characters trailer was released by publisher Aniplex and developers Too Kyo Games and Media.Vision. The footage introduces fans to Darumi Amemiya, Eito Aotsuki, Ima Tsukumo, Kako Tsukumo, and Kurara Oosuzuki.

The official website of "The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy" has an introduction to the newly revealed characters. Darumi Amemiya is voiced by Fairouz Ai and is a girl who has mood swings and is obsessed with all things dark and depressing.
On the other hand, Eito Aotsuki, who is voiced by Takahiro Sakurai, is Takumi's most trusted ally. This character cares about his friends and expresses those feelings constantly, despite some finding them corny.
Ima Tsukumo is voiced by Megumi Ogata and is the twin of Kako Tsukumo, who is voiced by Rikako Ito.
The former is a carefree joker who hides something underneath his humor. On the other hand, the latter is prone to spacing out but has a keen mind and is very curious, according to Gematsu.
Lastly, Kurara Oosuzuki, who is voiced by Yui Ogura, is the scion of one of the wealthiest families in the history of humankind. She is proud and overbearing and believes and acts like she is better than everybody else.
Upcoming Strategy RPG Title
The new characters trailer for "The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy" is set to come out on April 24, 2025, worldwide. The game will be available on the Nintendo Switch as well as PC via Steam.
The upcoming adventure strategy game will have a Limited Edition that includes art cards, a 3D acrylic diorama, metal pin, artbook, "Defense Academy" short novel, as well as an original soundtrack CD, Anime News Network said.
The game's story follows teenager Takumi Sumino, who is forced to enroll in the Last Defense Academy following a monster attack. The protagonist, along with 15 other students, is tasked with defending the school for 100 days.
"The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy" is being brought by the creators of "Danganronpa" and "Zero Escape." In the game, players' choices with Takumi Sumino can lead to 100 "extreme despair-filled endings."
The upcoming title will feature strategy RPG battles that require players to take advantage of each student's Specialist Skills. They will also be given a chance to bond with teammates and use items in order to craft gifts and become closer to them, according to Noisy Pixel.
