A new update is now live in Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds and it marks the beginning of the 5v5 player Temple Team Arena regular season. Players can also look forward to a new World Boss and special Black Friday events.
The start of the regular season of the 5v5 Temple Team Arena means players can now earn Temple Points and buffs by defeating monsters. Through PvP, players can take the Temple Points of their opponents, and the team with the higher Temple Score is declared the winner. They can also get the in-game currency Asterite during the official season.
A New Boss
As mentioned, the new update introduces players to the new World Boss Acteon. This giant insectoid Earth element World Boss uses a powerful physical attack and moves rather quickly, thanks to the wings on its back. Those who beat Acteon get different rewards like Acteon Accessories.
Black Friday Events
In celebration of Black Friday, here are the events that players can join to earn special rewards:
- Players can complete a number of missions such as throwing coins into the fountain to obtain Black Higgledy Coins.
- The Black Higgledy Coins can be exchanged for many rewards like the Magic Tome Selection Chests.
- A 4-Star Darkness Weapon/Familiar Selection Chest is granted once all the items have been exchanged for.
- Players can choose either a 4-Star Darkness Normal Weapon or 4-Star Darkness Normal Familiar.
- Fire Temple and Familiars' Cradle entry counts have been increased.
- More rewards are available from Goldbeard's Pirate Ship.
- Muse the Traveling Merchant has an increased appearance rate and various items' stock counts have been doubled.
Summon Event
There's also an Arachnes Rate Up Summon Event for players to enjoy. Here are the details:
- Level 1
- Requirement: Summon x100 (Diamond)
- Guaranteed Summon: Guaranteed 4-Star Familiar Summon
- Increased rate for 4-Star Arachnes
- Limit: Repeatable
- Level 2
- Requirement: Summon x200 (Diamond)
- Guaranteed Summon: Guaranteed 4-Star Arachnes
- Limit: Repeatable
