If you’ve kept tabs on Nioh at any point over the last decade, there’s a good chance you already know whether or not you’re going to dive into Team Ninja’s brutally difficult action RPG when the game hits PlayStation 4 on Tuesday. But Koei Tecmo is apparently hoping to generate some last-minute interest, and maybe even a few sales, by publishing Nioh’s opening cinematic less than 24 hours before the game charges onto PSN and store shelves.

We’re not sure the introductory bits of a new game have ever convinced anyone to spend buy a game they weren’t already interested in. But the practice of publishing such footage, typically a few days before launch, remains popular in the video game industry. Koei Tecmo is the latest to endorse the action, publishing Nioh’s opening cinematic late Sunday night. The brief clip doesn’t tell us anything we didn’t already know about the game, which pits a British samurai against an army of vicious enemies (both human and supernatural). But we can at least admit that it’s a fun way to kill a few minutes before work.

For an early look at Nioh, take a few minutes to watch the game’s newly released opening cinematic. Then head down to the comments section and let us know if you’re planning to buy a copy of Nioh when the game hits PS4 later this week.

Nioh is in development for PlayStation 4. The game debuts Tuesday, Feb. 7.
