The latest Overwatch hero buzz after the reveal of Overwatch ’s most recent hero, Sombra? It’s all about Doomfist.

The Rock has chimed in to express approval of Terry Crews as the voice of Overwatch ’s next hero, Doomfist :

The wave of support for Terry Crews as Overwatch ’s Doomfist comes via a post on Terry Crews’ Facebook page where he discusses his latest trip to Blizzard HQ, with over 3000 positive comments from fans.

Blizzard has been known to give the fans what they want: from tweaking a Mercy voice line to adding Doritos to D.va’s tombstone, this responsiveness to fan feedback is a big reason for Overwatch ’s success.

While neither Terry Crews’ enthusiasm nor The Rock’s ringing endorsement serve as a guarantee that Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s best sergeant will make it into the game, the fans’ clamorous voices might help.

And who knows? If Doomfist isn’t a go, maybe Soundquake will be.
