It’s been a wild couple of weeks, but the Overwatch Halloween event is finally coming to an end. We had some great times on this spooky patch, blowing up Junkenstein and his monsters, collecting jack o'lantern loot boxes and screaming for joy when we opened Witch Mercy. Sadly, like all fun events, this one must come to a close to usher in new events, maybe Sombra?
Overwatch’s Halloween event, Junkenstein’s Terror, ends on Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. EDT.
Keep in mind a few things before this event ends and you miss out on some awesome goodies.
If you haven’t tried the Halloween Brawl yet, you are missing out on the most fun addition to Overwatch since the beta. There are four sprays to be unlocked in Junkenstein’s Revenge, so if you haven’t snagged them yet, this is your last chance. Here’s a helpful guide to help you beat whatever the mad doctor can throw at you.
Once the event is over, you won’t be able to get any of the Halloween skins until at least next year. If you want a skin desperately and haven’t pulled it from a loot box, remember that these skins can be bought with coins while the event is still going on. If you are an Ana main and still don’t have her best skin, now is your last chance.
If you had a fun time with Junkenstein, remember to tell Blizzard. Post on their forums or reddit and tell the developers how awesome the skins and horde mode were. If we all cause a big enough ruckus, Jeff Kaplan and his team might find some time to create a permanent horde mode.
