She's graceful, like a swan
She's graceful, like a swan Blizzard

I can’t believe I still have to write about this. Overwatch , everyone’s favorite cartoon turned shooting gallery, had a bit of a controversy last week . One the game’s characters, Tracer, had an over the shoulder pose that put primary focus on her posterior. One fan got outraged and wrote a forum post which rippled through the internet like a video of a rat running with a slice of pizza.

The game developers responded and got rid of the picture. This pissed off the internet even more because they felt Blizzard caved under the pressure. After a week of silence we finally have our new Tracer pose in game. She’s standing like a duck, one leg in the air like she just don’t care. It’s a marked improvement, though there is still plenty enough shown for both sides to complain about

This controversy should die out, like all the other internet scandals people get really pissed about then forget. The Fine Brothers are still going strong after their whole “React World” scandal in February. These are just tiny blips, strewn aside when anything new and juicier comes along.

Now, everyone can go back to normal and be salty about not getting into the Overwatch Beta.

Overwatch doesn't care if you've ever tried an FPS before, it holds your hands and makes you feel okay while you shoot rocket launchers, icicles and sound waves.
  • Amazing Art Style
  • Balanced Mechanics
  • Characters Keep You Coming Back For More
  • No Single Player
  • Overwhelming At First
