The launch trailer for Planet Coaster is out now, less than 24 hours before the game unlocks on Steam, and it’s giving prospective customers an unguided tour of several attractions you might see in Frontier Developments’ upcoming theme park builder. It won’t be especially useful to those unfamiliar with the genre, on account of the lack of narration, but (for those who are) it’s a great sneak peek at the kinds of parks and attractions that can be built in Planet Coaster.
Those who haven’t played a theme park builder before might be surprised by the scope of the content in Planet Coaster . A variety of settings and themes are on display in the game’s launch trailer, including a Wild West setting, a theme park that looks awfully similar to that popular tourist destination in Orlando, and the kinds of over-the-top rides that tend to be inspired by movies and other hot entertainment properties. Planet Coaster will even let players design water rides and plan non-moving attractions, like shopping areas and costumed employees.

Planet Coaster is in development for PC. The game debuts Nov. 17.
