Virtual reality is the next biggest fad every game company is trying to get a piece of. Wearing a headset and seeing what your avatar does is a novel idea that can create an immersive experience never before seen on a consumer level. The Chinese game studio Oasis Games just announced five new games for the PlayStation VR , Sony’s virtual reality rig for the PlayStation 4.

Mixip- Take control of two spaceships with a Playstation Move remote in each hand and maneuver your way through waves of enemies. The game feels a lot like old spaceship shooters but without all the terrible gimmicks that have plagued the genre in recent years. It’s a new take on a gaming staple, allowing you to combine your ships to do combos and even take on some epic bosses.

Banana Archer - Have you ever felt the strange urge to protect your bananas from hordes of enemies? In Banana Archer , you use the PlayStation Move controller to simulate drawing a bow and shooting ridiculous items, like a plunger, at hordes of enemies hell-bent on stealing your pile of potassium goodness. You can play it singleplayer or co-op while listening to a gorgeous soundtrack to match its zany gameplay.

Pixel Gear - My favorite game on the list, Pixel Gear lets you take aim at a pixelated world and destroy it with guns blazing. It’s like Minecraft , if instead of building things you destroyed them with a two-dimensional revolver.

Dying: Reborn- With a name like that, you have to expect something dark and brooding, and you wouldn’t be wrong. Dying: Reborn is a horror puzzle game capitalizing on the whole “escape the room” fad. Players have to escape a room while solving puzzles and to trying not to scream at the game’s bone-chilling atmosphere.

Weeping Doll- The second horror game in the collection, Weeping Doll is my actual nightmares come to life. It’s like the Twilight Zone episode “Talking Tina,” which still scares me to this very day. In a world where children’s dolls spring to life whenever they “feel wronged,” it’s up to you to solve a mystery of a girl’s doll who takes revenge on her abusive parents. I wouldn’t touch this game with a hundred-foot pole, but maybe you found Chucky an enjoyable movie.
